Work as partner with Adidas in US/ Germany to develop skateboarding shoe projects. Control quality from sample stage to mass production, coordinate with QIP team to resolve customer complaints for sample and bulk order. Analyze and identify potential risk on a new design from early development stage. Coordinate with technical team to do production trial before mass production. Work with planning and sample production team to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance during sample stage. Take responsibility for design accuracy as well as sample quality during sample development process. Propose to customer on model improvement issue as well as apply the new production process to increase efficiency. Work with material team and supplier to find out the potential issue and suggest the suitable alternative material to have the best quality and meet the demand from customer. Arrange personnel, allocate projects based on the capacity of each team to ensure balance and high efficiency in each team. Manage and support subordinates to solve problems that arise during sample development as well as mass production stage. Raise up issues and discuss with customer to find out the solution on adidas’s system. Monthly meeting with manager to update the project, teamwork status and implement the plan for the next stage.

Work directly with customers to develop prototypes from design to mass production. Allocate the project for each team member. Manage and guide the team to handle the project. Report directly to supervisor weekly on the team about sample development status and propose solutions to develop team work. Check sample quality in development stage according to customer's request before sending. Work with related departments to solve sample quality problems. Guide and train new developers with their assigned projects, monitor and evaluate the performance of each staff. Make plans of sample delivery on time and lead project development timeline following product calendar from adidas.

Directly contact with customers in order to get project’s information to develop new models from concept to confirmation stage. Contact with suppliers and purchasers to find materials for making samples. Make “Bill Of Material (BOM), Footwear Costing Tool (FCT)” on Adidas’s system. Monitor the material progress and deal with problems when material is delayed. Follow strictly all stages from cutting, stitching to assembling in sample room to detect and solve problems. Send sample requests and inspect the sample production progress to ensure that shoes are completed and shipped on time. Keep tracking of shoe test results and make sure everything passed before coming to production. Work with Costing team to complete the cost for each stage of sample.
